Beste mensen,

Sinds bijna 2 jaar ben ik betrokken bij de doorstart van dDH. Dat was
nadat de vorige systeembeheerder, Boyd, aangaf dat hij er wegens zijn
ziekte op termijn mee zou ophouden. Om persoonlijke redenen wil ik per 1
december ophouden met mijn ondersteuning van dDH. Ik vraag jullie actief
uit te zien naar vervanging van mijn taken.

Die taken zijn:
- het (mede)beheer van dDH-support
- het (mede)beheer van alle mailinglijsten
- het (mede)beheer van de dDH-abonnementen bij de verschillende providers
- het actief ondersteunen en monitoren van het bestuur
- het (mede) updaten van snapshots en backups van het VPS server systeem
- het opstellen van zogenaamde wiki-pagina´s (bedoeld als basisuitleg
voor alle technische werkzaamheden aan het VPS-systeem)

Veel van deze taken zullen vanaf 1 december neerkomen op de schouders
van Albi die heeft aangegeven af te willen bouwen als systeembeheerder.

Daarom is het voor het voortbestaan van dDH van doorslaggevend belang
dat er nieuwe, actieve bestuursleden bij komen en ook nieuwe actieve
leden van het technische team!

Mijn verzoek: zoek in je naaste omgeving naar kandidaten en probeer
gezamenlijk tot oplossingen te komen.

Dear all,

Since about 2 years I have been involved in the continuation of the
functioning of the dDH platform after the previous system operator Boyd
communicated that he needed to be replaced because of his terminal
illness. For personal reasons I will stop my work for dDH after 30
November and I herewith ask you to actively look for replacement of my
tasks.

These tasks are:
- the (co)management of dDH-support
- the (co)management of all mailing lists
- the (co)management of the dDH subscriptions with several other providers
- the actively supporting and monitoring of the dDh foundaction board
- the (co)management of snapshots and backups of the VPS server system
- the support of editing/writing the socalled wiki pages (used as a
explanatory base for all technical work on the VPS server system)

After the 30st of November many of these tasks will bear on the
shoulders of system operator Albi who has communicated that he wants to
cut down his active participation of the dDH platform.

So, in order for the dDH platform to keep on functioning I think it is
decisive to find new active board members as well as new active
technical team members!

My request therefor to you: search in your direct environment for
candidates and try to commonly find solutions.
