Doe mee met de internationale March 2 Freedom en de actieweek in Brussel!

Afgelopen week stuurden wij een eerste algemene oproep voor de March 2 Freedom.

De voorbereidingsgroep van Freedom Not Frontex NL heeft afgelopen vrijdag de dagen van deelname vanuit Nederland aan de March 2 Freedom en aan de actieweek in Brussel bepaald. Onderstaande data zijn onder voorbehoud van wijzigingen. 

Op 18 mei gaan we naar Kehl (D), nemen deel aan de eerste grensoversteek, naar Strasbourg (F), en blijven daar. Op 19 mei nemen we deel aan geplande acties in Strasbourg en rijden 's avonds weer terug naar Nederland. Details over tijden en opstapplaatsen volgen nog.

Op 20 juni gaan we naar Brussel (B) waar de mars die dag aankomt, en een demonstratie plaatsvindt. We blijven de hele week en gaan 28 juni terug naar Nederland. Details over tijden en opstapplaatsen volgen nog.

Het vervoer wordt georganiseerd met touringcar bussen. Daarnaast vragen we of mensen vervoersmiddelen kunnen aanbieden, hetzij voor de reis naar Kehl / Brussel, hetzij om mensen naar de opstapplaatsen te brengen. Met name vluchtelingen hebben vaak geen geld voor bus of trein. Mail naar freedomnotfrontexnl op gmail.com o.v.v. ‘vervoer’ als je vervoer kunt aanbieden. Bij voorbaat dank! 

Wil je meehelpen mobiliseren, organiseren? We kunnen alle hulp goed gebruiken! Kom dan naar de volgende bijeenkomst van de voorbereidingsgroep. Deze is op zaterdag 19 april om 17 uur, Noticias / VIA office, Pesthuislaan, Paviljoen 2, WG terrein, in Amsterdam-West. Routebeschrijving onderaan.

We hebben veel geld nodig voor vervoer van de vluchtelingen naar de grensoverschrijdende actie en de week in Brussel. Ook voor goede begeleiding door legal teams en medics, voor actiematerialen en mobilisatieflyers maken we kosten. We rekenen daarbij op jouw bijdrage om dit te verwezenlijken! Route beschrijving

Het kantoor van Noticias en Via is officieel aan de MvB Bastiaansestraat 32. De ingang is echter aan de achterkant, aan de Pesthuislaan.

Hoe te bereiken met openbaar vervoer: 
- Neem de trein naar Amsterdam Central Station
- Neem tram 1 in de richting van Osdorp en stap uit de eerste halte op de Overtoom (halte heet 1e Constantijn Huygenstraat)
- Loop in de richting waarheen de tram ging en neem de eerste straat rechts (2e Constantijn Huygensstraat)
- Neem de eerste straat links (1e Helmersstraat)
- Neem de eerste straat rechts. Dit is de M.v.B Bastiaansestraat.
- Ga nu link het voetpad op en om het gebouw heen (dat je aan je rechterhand houdt). Kort na de hoofdingang vind je de deur naar het kantoor.

Join the international March 2 Freedom and the action week in Brussels!

Last week we sent a first general call out for the March 2 Freedom. 

Last Friday, the preparation group of Freedom Not Frontex NL has set the dates that we will take part in the March 2 Freedom and the action week in Brussels. The dates below are subject to change. 

On May 18 we go to Kehl (D), take part in the first border crossing, to Strasbourg (F), and stay there. On May 19 we take part in actions that are being held in Strasbourg and drive back to the Netherlands in the evening. Details on times and boarding places will follow later.

On June 20 we go to Brussels (B) where the march arrives that day, and where there will be a demonstration. We stay there the whole week en return to the Netherlands June 28. Details on times and boarding places will follow later. 

Transportation is being organized with touring car buses. Aside of that, we ask if people can offer transportation, either for the journey to Kehl / Brussels, or to help take people to the boarding places. We need a lot of money for travel expenses for the refugees to the border crossing action and the week in Brussels. Route description 

The office of Noticias and VIA is officially at the MvB Bastiaansestraat 32. However, the entrance is at the back, at the Pesthuislaan.

How to reach by public transport:
- Take the train to Amsterdam Central Station
- Take tram 1 in the direction of Osdorp and get out at the first stop at the Overtoom (stop is called 1st Constantijn Huygensstraat).
- Walk in the direction of the tram and take first street right (2nd Constantijn Huygensstraat)
- Take first street left (1st Helmersstraat)
- Take first street right. This is the M.v.B Bastiaansestraat.
- Now go left on the pedestrian path and around the building (that you keep on your right hand). Just after the main entrance you will find the door of the office.
