available.

Uitnodiging

Namens het bestuur van digitaal Den Haag (dDH) nodig ik u van harte uit voor de plenaire vergadering.

Deze plenaire vergadering is een basis-democratische vergadering voor alle deelnemers van dDH. Het is inmiddels al vele jaren geleden dat zo'n vergadering is gehouden. 

Zoals velen van jullie al weten is Boyd, de toenmalige dDH voorzitter,  van ons heengegaan en daarmee heeft dDH zijn grote drijvende kracht verloren.

De voorzitterstaak is inmiddels overgenomen door ondergetekende (Gerrit Frijstein). Onze nieuwe secretaris is Robert van de Ridder. Beiden waren al eerder betrokken bij dDH. 

We willen graag tussen 24 en 28 november een plenaire vergadering uitschrijven voor alle gebruikers van het dDH platform. Die zal dan ´s avonds plaats vinden in Den Haag of in een andere centraal gelegen stad.

Tijdens die vergadering wil het bestuur graag horen wat de gebruikers vinden van de dienstverlening en ontwikkelingen in het afgelopen jaar. Het bestuur zal dan het financiële overzicht van 2014 en de begroting van 2015 presenteren en ingaan op de keuze voor een systeem van vooruitbetalen. Ook zijn we benieuwd welke wensen er zijn met betrekking tot de toekomst van ons platform. Tevens kunnen geïnteresseerde leden zich aanmelden als kandidaat bestuurslid.

Wilt u vóór 18 november aangeven welke avond u het beste uitkomt?

Als er genoeg aanmeldingen zijn, kan ik kijken naar meeste geschikte plaats en tijdstip. De zaal moet in elk geval gemakkelijk bereikbaar zijn voor alle deelnemers die met het openbaar vervoer komen.

Kunt u niet lijfelijk aanwezig kunt zijn, geen probleem: het technisch team zorgt voor een Skype-verbinding zo dat u toch mee kunt praten.

Valued participants,

The board of the dDH Foundation, with this letter, invites a representative of your organisation to attend our plenary meeting. The plenary meeting is a fundamental instrument in which all members of the dDH Foundation can participate. It has however been many years since the last plenary meeting was organized.

As many of you now know, Boyd Noorda, until shortly, took upon himself the role of chairman of the board and was the thriving force in dDH's activities. Alas Boyd passed away this summer and with his death, dDH has lost his inspirational leadership of dDH. Yours truly, Gerrit Frijstein, has taken over the chairman's hammer and I have found support in a new secretary, Robert van de Ridder. Both of us have actively engaged in dDH's activities in earlier years.

The board would prefer to situate the plenary meeting, last week november, more explicitly on any day between 24th and 28th of november, preferrably on a location in The Hague. With this meeting we want to give all participants an opportunity to express their opinion about the past and future services and development of the dDH Foundation.

The board will present the financial activity report of 2014 as well as an estimate for 2015 and address the choice of the new system of annual prepayment. Furthermore we are very interrested in your opinion regarding the future of the dDH Foundation. In addition there's an opportunity for candidates to apply as a member of the board.

Can you please respond as soon as possible but latest at november 18th which evening will suit you best and eventually second best? We will then try to take your possibilities into account.

When sufficient people have shown their interest to participate, we can choose a suitable time and place and inform all of you. We set out to find a location which is comfortably accesible by Public Transport.

When you are not able to personally attend the meeting, please timely send us your Skype-name to enable us to invite you to join a Skype-group and contribute to the meeting through cyberspace.
