[Midden-Oosten] [Vredeslijst] Fwd: On the way to Freedom

Beste allen,

Deze discussie gaat om het vraagstuk van normalisatie...

Kun je de onderdrukker en de onderdrukten als gelijkwaardige beschouwen???
Kun je de bezetter en de bezette op gelijk niveau plaatsen???

Velen van ons, vooral degene die achter de BDS Campagne staan (Boycot, Disinvestering, Sancties: http://www.bdsmovement.net) menen van niet…

Net zoals er ook nooit van zwarte Zuid-Afrikanen verlangd werd dat zij aan ‘vredesprojecten’ mee zouden werken met blanken tijdens Apartheid.
Dit i.t.t. de positieve uitwerking van de samenwerking tussen zwarten en blanken in de strijd TEGEN Apartheid!

Want zolang als ‘vredes-lievende’ individuen die tot de partij van de onderdrukkers/bezetters behoren, niet uitgaan van ‘rechtvaardigheid’ i.t.t. ‘vrede’…
Zolang hun doel niet een einde aan de onrechtmatige situatie is, maar ‘onderling begrip’ BINNEN die onrechtmatige situatie…
Dan werken dit soort projecten (bewust of onbewust) de facto als dekmantel voor de voortzetting van die onderdrukking…

Onder de mom van: kijk hoe wij zo leuk naast elkaar kunnen leven… terwijl de ongelijkheid en onrechtmatigheid van de situatie zich voortzet, zonder de illegitimiteit ervan ter discussie te stellen of die te bestrijden.

Bedenk alleen naar welke situatie die Israeli teruggaat na afloop van hun samenwerking, en naar welke situatie de Palestijn teruggaat!

Door dergelijke projecten, schep je eerder de schijn van een ‘normale’ situatie, als dat je de abnormaliteit ervan bestrijd. Sterker nog, worden zulke projecten door Israelische/zionistische krachten vaak doelbewust toegejuicht, juist om de schijn van legitimiteit te promoten!!
