The Olympic museum was one of the most beautiful buildings in town. Made in colorful combination of Hungarian and Austrian style. After Sarajevo's winter Olympics 1984 it has been turned into Olympic museum. Before it was in use as kind of Austrian consulate. In the very beginning of siege time city officials had idea to openthe American embassy in this building but then aggressor tanks from the mountain burned it. It's in process of reconstruction currently. Just behind this building are some of the very attractive houses of old Sefardic Jewish aristocrats also mostly made in Hungarian and Austrian style.
