France Press journalist in detention for up to thirty days

Kraljevo, Wednesday - The Municipal Court in Kraljevo has ruled that France Press correspondent Miroslav Filipovic is to be held in temporary detention. Under Serbian law this can last up to thirty days. Filipovic was one of the first journalists detained in this week's wave of media arrests. Police entered his apartment on Monday night, searching it for three hours before arresting Filipovic without explanation. They also seized his passport, address books, computer hard disc and eighty pages of written material.
