Otpor activist detained in Arilje

Arilje, Monday - A young Otpor activist arrested yesterday in the town of Arilje, near Belgrade, was released late last night after six hours' of interrogation in the local police station. The student protester was detained after taking part in a local protest rally. Otpor representative Branko Ilic told B2-92 today that another Otpor member, Vladan Vuckovic, who was arrested on April 27 for writing graffiti, will appear in court in Batocina tomorrow.

Otpor today announced that the organisation will immediately give up all activities not connected with last week's conflict in Pozarevac. The organisation has announced that on May 13, Serbia's Public Security day, Otpor activists will surrender en masse to police in fifty towns around Serbia.
